joek4061 6
Well, I couldn't help myself; I bought another Saiga. The $299 price drew me into J&G one day after work and I left with a .223 version. I shot it over the weekend and I must say I really like it. The gun handles the .223 round like a dream. I was shooting Tula ammo and getting some nice groups. The stock trigger on this thing isn't bad either! This has the potential of being my favorite Saiga! I may fix this one up for the Mrs. just in case she has to defend the fortress. You know, if the proverbial fertilizer hits the fan? I'm thinking seriously of doing her up in Olive Drab. The only critical decision will be what mags to use. So far I 'm leaning towards the circle 10's. If your thinking of getting another Saiga now is probably the time to act. There is no guarantee they will be at this price point again. The way things are going economically inflation seems to be the trend. I would say these are an overall good deal right now. jbanzai 113
The prices are great right now....definitely the time to act. I wish I had the cash for another. The stock trigger on my .223 was horrible. Possibly the worst trigger I've ever experienced. After replacing it with the Tapco, it is great and groups much tighter than my MAK90 or even SKS. Sunset_Va 2
I recently purchased a 20" barrel length Saiga and love it, and don't intend to convert it. I guess I am lucky, the trigger on mine is very good, Mine was $425 purchased online shipped.
bohound 281
If you already have an AR or two around the house, or another rifle that takes STANAG magazines, consider the AR magwell adapter. You already have the magazines, and don't need to install a BG! Welcome to the family!
