LtDan 4 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 Yeah I noticed that Dinzag was out of TAT's so I had to make one now I have to wait for the die to come in. This all started last week when I decided to do a muzzle brake took off the front sight macnied the front and bored the back to slip back. Then after readind all the muzzle brake info I decided to take off the gas block and thread the barrel in my lathe. Got it all stripped down put the 4 jaw chuck on the lathe spindle and the flippin barrel is too short (it's a 21.8) to protrude the four jaw. Crap! put it all back together and decided to go 17 x 1.0 got the TAT made but the only company that stocks a 17 MM die is in New York and it's gonna take till monday the 19th.
