opto_isolator 3
Why should I buy one versus the other in the 4x24 POSP?
ChileRelleno 7,071
Which one would you truly put to actual use? Are you, more so than your rifle, capable of 400m-1000m shots? Would the 1000m cost more and just be wasted cash & capability?
DrThunder88 912
I'm with Chile. Unless you're in the habit of taking shots longer than 200m, a 1000m rangefinder might not be worth it. Looking at the rangefinders on Kalinka's website, it seems that a 400m rangefinder might allow for more accurate rangefinding at 100-400m, whereas a 100m rangefinder starts being useful at 200m. Jpanzer 1,265
I've got the 400 and use it on my AK 74. I find it to be an excellent combination. Now if I had a PSL or another rifle that I shot regularly out and beyond 600 I might opt for the 1000 rangefinder. But seriously, I don't even know of a range around me that goes out beyond 300 meters...
