Red Star 38 Posted March 29, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 ah! thought so. thank you sir it looks like its a German one... the packaging it came with had a small piece of old paper printed in German. I will also assume that its from 1985, there is an 85 in a square in the top right corner of the paper. It looks brand new, perhaps un-issued surplus. the only markings i can find on it are a small 'F' stamped on the underside. the finish is shiny and black, doenst match the saiga at all, but i will be duracoating it. My other saiga is a 20 inch 7.62 x 39mm. only real thing i did to that was switch out the crappy hunting stock for the dragunov style one. and put on a flash hider. am looking forward to getting the baby 5.45 stripped apart and painted Quote Link to post Share on other sites
