jbanzai 113
I have 4 Surefire Saiga .223 mags I"m selling on another forum. They are all more than 10 rounds. Someone in Kali is trying to buy them saying it's ok if they are disassembled as a parts kit. For it to be a parts kit, it would have to be used to repair a mag that existed in Kali prior to 2000. SO....did Surefire even make .223 mags prior to 2000? If not, this would be an effort to break one of their shitty gun laws....something I don't want to get involved in. burnpgh 4
if you're questioning it I wouldnt risk any liability.
wyv3rn 0
Maybe he/she intends to assemble and use them only out of state. There is no constructive intent for magazines in CA. Parts is parts. They are legal disassembled.
pyzik 597
It ends up being work on your end but you could check at calguns.net forums. I am sure someone there will know.
NickWhite 7
Here in the lovely state of kalifornia, I BELIEVE if it's taken appart it can be shipped here as a "parts kit" to "rebuild another magazine". How it makes any sense, is beyond me.

hellraiser 6
Sometimes californians buy mag kits and add these permanently. "glued or rivited floor plate is common" http://www.magazineblocks.com/magento/products/magblock-kits/saiga-223-10-30-magblock.html They create 10 round mags with 30 round body's "for looks". I'm not sayin that's what the guy is doin but could be. Edited May 6, 2012 by hellraiser
