Well, as it says, phase 1 of my restoration on my 1973 VW Bus has been completed! I installed the dasboard Hula-Girl, and installed funny driving hat!

Now just getting it to stop and go, and of course several gun mounts.

VW Buses are soossss cool. I bought a brand new 1972 VW bus way back in ....... 1972. Yellow/orange and white. In Commiefornia it was the last year with two carbs on the type two. Even had a very well thought out and installed dealer option of interior....AIR CONDITIONING.

Driving that new old girl was very much like driving a 4104 General Motors bus....thus her nickname was "MINI GIMMIE". Very slow, very cool....tacked about 4000 rpm at highway speed. Ah...those were the days my friend....we thought they would never end"! HB of CJ (old coot) smile.pngsmile.pngsmile.png
