I haven't shot a S12 with a different grip so opinion is slightly biased. recoil on heavy loads seems light'ish. All I shoot is heavy shit (buck and slugs). install is super easy and it is really solid. here's a pic My wife got me a Saiga 7.62 for fathers day and I will be buying the AK kit with same stock, grip and the hand guard (AK specific). Live2Ride 12 Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 I really can't say, I have not shot another S12, they seem to be rare in my neck of the woods. I can tell you that compared to my buddy's Benneli, this S12 is a kitten. I can't shoot his for long, the recoil kills my shoulder. I have shot mine all day long and still want more, with no issues.
