fallout1975 0 Posted November 4, 2005 Report Share Posted November 4, 2005 picked up a saiga 223 for 250 and was woundering if i should make a russian 223 krink out of it or just do a 102-105 series conversion? i have the parts to do the conversion in both ways. 223 krink would be cool ,not many out there. my buddy told me not to do it! help and suggestions. thanks this was a 7.62x39 i pick up for 200 and cut and choped it to be diffrent and to compete with the ar. If you can SBR it, go for the Krink. A permanently attached fake can is, well, fake. SBR plus real can -- priceless. If by 102 - 105 you mean with the integral Gasblock/front sight, those are pretty cool too. But SBR ing it too is a must in my book. If you gotta have 16" it should be all barrell. 4+ inches of muzzle device seems like a waste of space. But I have seen one setup that looked pretty damn cool with that 4" of wasted space. So the moral of the story is build 'er the way you like best, and when SBRing don't forget to pay the man or there will be trouble. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
