pyzik 597
I'd heard the terms and just assumed I had the Shepard's Crook installed since I was sure I did not have the plate. Nope... neither, haha! Damn it, Dinzag.
mancat 2,368
I don't get it. You didn't have anything holding the axis pins in? It's a wonder that your rifle's guts didn't just fall apart.
pyzik 597
I was thinking the same thing! They aren't easy to move but neither are they difficult. The rifle has been converted for about six years with a few thousand round through it (not a lot for the amount of time really). Dinzag did the rear conversion for me and I never thought to make sure one was installed. Edited January 9, 2013 by Pyzik
Mullet Man 2,114
The second pic, almost looks like there is a sheperds crook installed on the trigger axis pin. I don't see it at the hammer tho. Simply amazing that it has gone so long without one....i would think damn near impossible. mancat 2,368
I see the same thing. Sure you don't have E-clips on the pins?
pyzik 597
DOH! I just looked closer. There are clips on the pins.
Mullet Man 2,114
Simply amazing that it has gone so long without one....i would think damn near impossible. For it to have gone that long, or operate at all, would be nothing short of mind boggling. I have a hard enough time keeping my axis pins in place, just to install the retaining plate.
