nh10ring 0
I am considering getting a scabbard for my Saiga 7.62x39 sporting rifle (no conversion). I would like to attach the scbbord to my bug out bag (Molle II rucksack) with MOLLE straps. Any recommendations on which one to buy?

Shankspony 40
A buddy uses one for his Mossberg... he likes it. I'm not so sure about it. If you're carrying for a backup/additional, I could see using this on your pack. I use something similar for a machete. As for which brand... yeah, I dunno. Sunset_Va 2
It's a great way to carry and protect your rifle/shotgun, I have one I purchased for $29 at Sportsmanship Guide couple of years ago, I originally purchased it for my Mossberg 590A1, but fits my Saiga 223 unconverted without optics. You can sling it across your back and carry your rifle hands free, it only has one sling however, for the most comfortable carry , get another sling/strap to carry like a backpack. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/molle-shoulder-military-surplus-shotgun-scabbard.aspx?a=562602 Edited January 28, 2013 by Sunset_Va
richUK 90
I have got genuine Soviet issue canvas dropcases for both my AK's and my Dragunov and are pretty cheap if bought direct from Russia. The AK ones are available in different lengths such as for an AK74u, AKMS and an AK47/AKM/AK74 with a fixed stock. LuPiN8oR 333
If you have the coin i suggest an eberlestock g4 operator... more than enough room for an ak w a 10round mag in it and big enough to carry everything youd need in a b.o.b/ hunting bag/ camping bag...and it makes a nice rest when shooting prone. I gots one barely used on a military classifieds site for 250$.
