Makaveli913 22
I been looking for a s .308 for over a year after I couldn't buy one for 350 because my license was cancelled from an insurance dispute. I finally came across one and bought it immediately. It's a 22 inch barrel 2000 imported by Kalashnikov USA. The hammer and rails still have all the paint on them and show little wear. The ak smiley hasn't even wore in yet . I started the conversion as soon as I got it. Took me a total of 3 hours. I reused the factory trigger guard and welded it in place. I removed the cover over the gas block and put a s12 gas tube cover on it. I had a CSS handgaurd lying around and many pistol grips and stocks to choose from. I also had a side mount and cheap scope in a box. I then notched the safety lever and now its done ! Just put 20 rounds through it and couldn't be happier Family photo
308SAIGA 55
What parts did you change out, because that thing looks illegal. Remember the pistol grip does not count as a 922r part, the weapon didnot get imported with a PG. Change the mag to a USA mag and you are all good. Besides that it looks good, the forend is not made by CSS, it is made by Fugglystick something like that.... Edited February 10, 2013 by 308saiga

Bagels 10
Great Looking Conversion! The Saiga .308 deserves a lot more praise IMHO as it really is an excellent battle rifle. (Now here comes the arguments about not having seen much military action ..blah blah blah)
