mamassingale 1
I recently purchased a saiga 20 and it is not ejecting shells. the bolt and carrier have been polished by previous owner. gas block is on properly, there are 3 gas holes in the barrel and all 3 are the proper size. I have tried multiple gas setting and still a fte every time. i have tried factory and aftermarket mags 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. what could be causing this problem? csspecs 1,987
What does the ejector look like? The ejector is in the receiver, not the extractor which is part of the bolt. If the ejector is welded in correctly the gun will almost never eject.
IndyArms 10,186
First... make sure you are NOT limp wristing it... Have you been shooting SLUGS or buckshot and get this issue? Or ONLY birdshot??? If only birdshot... try some slugs... also mine took a season of trap league to break in... thats 100 rounds a week for 12 to 16 weeks... sure its a pain... but on the trap line, the4y prefer auto's to NOT eject anyways, so it was WIN WIN for me! mamassingale 1
It will shoot slugs ok it's low brass problem that is common with saigas. But I have done everything that people say you need to in order to cycle low brass and it still not working. I've got about 300 rounds through it but its used so I'm not sure the total count.
