jesse2236 0
I've seen several mentions on the topic of increasing the stock 308 mag from 8 rounds to 10. I haven't seen any actual tip's on this. After disassembling my stock mag it looks like all that needs to be done is to cut down the pointy things on the footplate of the mag. Is the the right way to go?? thanks,
grizzlybigbore 0
there are also the rails on the follower that need to be trimmed. be very carevul with this, however, because if you cut off too much, the follower wont slide on the rails anymore and wont feed properly. there is nearly enough room in the mag for 9, so if you want to increase the capacity, i would suggest taking plastic off bit by but so just 10 fits perfectly with no overtravel in the follower. hope this helps-- Griz
jesse2236 0
Hi Griz, thanks, I think I'll wait until I have a larger stock of 308 mag's (which is petty small right now).
