Loose Kalinka PK-01V side mount

I bought the PK-01V red dot optic from Kalinka a couple of weeks ago. I was excited to open the box and mount it in my 7.62x39 Saiga.

It is very loose and not usable. I don't know if it's the mount from Kalinka that comes with the PK-01v or if its my side mount. My side mount is tight to the receiver, but there is way too much play after I mount it.

You have to adjust the mount to the rail. You want it tight when you close the latch, but not to the point that you cant get it off.

There isn't any adjustment to tighten the mount to the rail. The only adjustment is for the tightness of the mount lever. If you look at the 2nd from the bottom of the pic, you see how far off from the rail

it sits.

Like I said, you need to tighten it.

Ok, you're right. I went back and tightened it a lot more and it is snug now. I've been fiddling with it for a couple days now and figured I had a bad mount.

Its normal to have to adjust them out of the box. I would have typed it all out, but it was easier to post a link to that thread with the video in it. lol. Let us know how she shoots when you get her zeroed.

Yup, a video is worth at least a thousand words. I put that together because it was much faster to explain it that way then sending 4-5 emails.
