I know this is an "newbie" question, but here it is:

#1. Why do other AK's come into the country with pistol grips, big mag's and the Saiga series have to have a specific parts count to be modified like other AK's??

#2. Will other AK mag's fit the Saiga 7.62 or is modification necessary, how about the 223 Saiga??

Thanks, I'm sure this has been covered in the various threads.

I would love to answer all of these questions for you, but I type with one finger, and Im affraid that the strain and possible overexertion of that finger would be just too much. This is the same finger that I use to pull my Saiga's trigger.

In the upper right corner of your screen, you will see a link to this forums search feature. It enables you to search not only the entire forum's descussions and topics but individual forums as well. there is also an "advanced search" option. It works very well, I have used it several times. It especially comes in handy when searching for topics that have been covered several times on numerous pages on multiples of boards.

Welcome to the forum! :zorro:

I feel generous...

Chances are if it comes into the country with a PG it has been MODDED in the country to be COMPLIANT with 922R regs. by some importer in some fashion or other...

For more details on that, yeah... do the search thing.

As far as AK mags and the saiga... YES... mods are needed...

Mods to the mag or mods to the gun... your choice...

Personally, I choose to mod the mags, was just easier for me.

takes about 5 minutes. a Dremel, a Drill, and a screw are all you need.

for info on that... Yeah... use the search feature. :)

Gotta get ya trained on it SOMEHOW...
