SeanByrd 0
Hey guys, new member here. Been trolling a while. Got a saiga 12 with CSS conversion kit. After conversion kit install, I went to test fire. Shooting Rio #6 3 3/4 dram, 2 3/4 ". Shoots flawlessly with factory 5 rd mag. I have 3 SGM 10 rounders that are not feeding properly. Is there anything I can do to the mags to help them feed better? They seem a bit tight.
Mullet Man 2,114
Push the followers down with a pencil, do the stick anywhere throughout the travel?
SeanByrd 0
Push the followers down with a pencil, do the stick anywhere throughout the travel? Tried it on all 3 10 rounders. Followers seem to move freely on all
Mullet Man 2,114
Ok. How about feed angle? How do the sgm's when loaded and inserted, compare to your factory 5? What kind of failures are you getting?
mscottrogers 56
load the mags with 3 rounds and try the pencil trick. They might be hanging up on the shell. If so heat them in hot water then use a cork to expand them where they rub and let them cool with the cork in them. Its posted on here somewhere. I'll see of I can find it for you heres a link about the brass http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/24880-problem-solved-agp-mags-feed-birdshot-but-not-buckshot-why/ more links http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/86877-sgm-10rd/?hl=%2Bmag+%2Bpinching&do=findComment&comment=894828 http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/84877-sgm-mags-failure-to-feed/?hl=%2Bmag+%2Bpinching&do=findComment&comment=857742
