scattergun10 125
I'm wanting to swap out the Vepr factory handguard for something different. I'm just wondering if a Bulgarian AK-74 gas tube would fit.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Not sure about the Vepr 5.45 setup because only Vepr I have is a 12 gauge. Here's what I did to it though and I like it much better. Never was a fan of the RPK ribbed HGs.
scattergun10 125
Damn, that looks real good. Did you add the rail on the lower HG or did it come like that?
Cobra 76 two 2,677
I just added one on a regular K Var set. Of course the heat shield and the inside had to be milled out first to fit the huge barrel but the upper HG just mounted right on the Vepr gas tube.
liberty -r- death 1,445
I bought a bulgy tube. New old stock. It took some fitting to get it to mount, but it can be done. Lower took some fitting as well since the bull barrel is larger than standard barrels. Edited September 4, 2014 by liberty -r- death

thebuns1 4,323
Check the Vepr 5.45 section for my thread vepr 5.45 closer look. I have pics that will give you an idea of what to expect. But mods will be required.
pjj342 632
You might get lucky with a similar length, but theres a good chance youll be using a file and fitting the rear lugs to your rifle.
