dinzag 31 Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 If you always use carb cleaner, you might want get some gun-kote clear spray. You can get it in 2 different aerosol sizes. Big bucks though. That stuff is pretty impervious. My experience is pretty limited with clears as I have only used their black on the guns. Haven't used other brands either. If you use a less aggressive cleaner, you can get away with other finishes like rustoleum & not worry about ruining it. You just have to be careful about some solvents...
