HB of CJ 1,263
This came up on another Fine Forum. So ... the question is ... will President Obama illegally, through an illegal executive order, "temporarily stop" any and all future NFA firearm tax stamp transfers? It is an economic transaction by federal law. The President has not had a good track record here ... in my humble opinion. Could he do it? Well yeah. Will he do it? I dunno. HB of CJ (old coot) And ... the BIG question ... what else might he do while still a lame duck President? And how might this affect all of us?

gunfun 3,931
He doesn't have any basis of statutory authority to stretch for something like that.
Jack Mobes 1
No, entirely too much revenue is generated from NFA transfers. Plus, garnaz said it, they are registered and tracked. He wouldnt want to stop that. Edited March 3, 2015 by Jack Mobes
