DLT 1,646
Have any of you swapped out the rear trunnion for a standard tanged AK trunnion?
Mullet Man 2,114
There's a guy over on the akfiles krinkov section who did. Might find some info there.
mancat 2,368
UF trunnion rivet holes will have to be welded up, and the receiver angle is wrong for an AKM stock. If you like the Yugo pattern wood stocks, it's a better option, as they used the same receiver angle. I used to not like them very much, but now I'm of the opinion that the ACE/Stormwerkz/etc. hinges are the best way to go on the M92/M85. I'm thinking about selling my Yugo UF parts and eventually going that route with a form 1. Edited February 2, 2015 by mancat
saltydecimator 482
ya i did a build on a m92-rifle. its as man cat says. i chopped off a saiga sporter stock to use as a blcok to keep the rifle trunion in place when i riveted it... keep in mind that they are $90 new (uf trunnion) so dont destroy it... oh, and it seemed like i only had to change out lower holes, upper ones were ok. or i just ground receiver back a bit to fit those (upper, rear) holes. worked for me...
