I just picked up a saiga 7.62 and was wondering......Can I use an s12 conversion kit on a 7.62?

Is there any difference?

The hammer from the S12 conversion kit has been modified to work with the S12's longer bolt and for the BHO. I could be wrong, but I don't think it can be used for a rifle.

The mods on the hammer should not harm function in the normal saiga. You should be good. However, any trigger guard and retaining plates are going to be the wrong shapes.

How does that not still count as a pistol grip? i don't get it. It still protrudes below the receiver and you can put your hand around it.
