machinehead 0
Which one would be better for my S-12 conversion. IM 5'7". I know its an owners preferance thing but i dont have any experiance with either. So which one do yall prefer? Is there any other butpads to put on than the grenade pad? I dont much care for slip overs. is there one that goes through the original holes in teh bac k like a regular pad? Edited February 13, 2006 by machinehead
fullchoke 0
dude, I seriously suggest the NATO lenght stock. Whith the warsaw lenght you feel like u are on top of the damn gun. If you are worried about the recoil go with a bufferpad they help a lot! Hope this helps fullchoke
rocketman320 0
Best butt pad on the market is the "Limbsaver" ...... bar none. You can purchase one with a grind to fit feature and they have downloadable templates available online to compare to your stock. This butt pad combined with a Blackjack green buffer will reduce felt recoil by roughly 70%. Rocketman
AegisDei 2
I use a Warsaw length at 5'10" and I'm entirely too close to the gun. I tell everyone to go with Nato length unless they're 5'7" or shorter...since you're right on the line, you'd not be horribly uncomfortable with Warsaw but I think you'd be even happier with Nato. Doesn't matter as much on .223, 7.62, 5.45, etc. but when you get into the kick of a 12ga and probably 308, you'll be darn glad you wear safety glasses when shooting b/c at Warsaw length it'll pop ya in the face.
