They gave her $200 NOT to trade it in! It did not run bad after I replaced the Lucas coil,distributer and ignition wires! Finally junked it when it started using a quart of oil every 100 miles. magsite20 1,664 Posted October 16, 2015 Report Share Posted October 16, 2015 I had a couple of Mustangs that were fine but the EXP was the last Ford I'll ever buy. I had a 76 IH Scout II at the time that got 12 mpg and wanted something that got better mileage, the EXP was a problem child from day one the gas pedal fell off on the way home from the dealership and as it turned out for that car that was a good day.
