Im still planning on making my own version of the modification/installation video. Good job bud!
VforVandetta 42
Thanks bro. I've been informed by Maxim at 4range that he's gonna get Tromix to make a VEPR 12 specific drop In with no mods necessary for the same price! So look for that. The product listing is already on his site he's taking back orders. Here is the link: http://4range.com/goods.php?id=1134

evlblkwpnz 3,418
Did you measure pull weight with a factory hammer spring vs the JTE spring? By the way, I like that "walk outside and test fire". For me, it would be "walk outside and get the Police called", lol.
VforVandetta 42
Hahaha yes I have traded the comforts and amenities of the city for the privelage of shooting in my back yard. I did not, tho I thought of doing just that! The gun came with the JTE installed, I'll have to pull a mainspring out of my WASR and measure that.
VforVandetta 42
Hey guys,I completely overhauled my video about this and deleted the old one. The new one is as proffesional as possible, and contains side by side testing with a trigger scale, as well as a step-by-step on the hammer re-profiling needed for this trigger group. The new unit is a universal modified product that fits both the Saiga 12 and Vepr 12.can be found here : Also, here is some raw data on all the various spring/pull weight combinations using the factory mainspring/JTE. I also tried an ALG power spring, but don't recommend its use because of how hard it is to install. It's just too damn wide.Factory trigger and factory spring - 6.12lb ave pullFactory trigger and JTE spring - 5.5lb ave pullALG trigger + ALG spring(nearly impossible install) - 3.25lb ave pullALG trigger + factory spring + ALG auxiliary trigger spring - 3.12lb ave pullALG trigger + factory spring - 2. 5lb ave pullALG trigger + JTE spring - 1.87lb ave pullEnjoy!-V Edited April 22, 2016 by VforVandetta
