gunfun 3,931
Is this after Never10 or a manual delete? I found with manual that KB whatever didn't come back, but the ~6 gigs of W10 was there and the nag flag was present.
sobrenegade 795
After I downloaded the Never10 things stabilized and the popups stopped, but the banner started to reappear so that is when I disabled the automatic update, unbeknownst to me that there had been another update installed. In fact it seems when I let the updates I believed were necessary install, MS includes the KB3035583 at every update. MS considers the KB3035583 a critical update. Manually you have to check each update or as I have done the last two times, just put KB3035583 in the "search updates" and the little bugger highlights itself. Glad I'm not too computer literate or I would do myself some damage. I will just add it to my daily maintenance cleaning and uninstall it if it shows. No more "set it and forget it". I don't want any more surprises like that Thursday morning.
