scattergun10 125
I have a converted Vepr. I just noticed that the top of the bolt carrier is rubbing as it goes through the tunnel in the rear sight block at the point where the carrier mates with the piston, therefore rubbing the finish off the top of the carrier. Is this normal? The FCG is completely stock. I do have an Ultimak rail installed. Everything seems to be lined up and the gun cycles smoothly. I can't remember if it was doing this before the conversion or not. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Mullet Man 2,114
I consider it normal. I don't think any of mine don't rub there.
YOT 3,743
Friction. That sounds like a good place for a bit of lubrication.
