TWGLADF 0
found some 20 round MWG mags for mini 14. they are not listed on their website so i fgure they quit makin them. they are straight, not curved, and slant on bottom. they are a composite black material. was wondering about their durability and reliability. i posted this same question over on perfect union with no response at all. that site used to be bad but now it's horrible. the most unhelpful site i've ever posted on. used to be a couple days without a reply. now, try a week or more. I have not used these but know if you want the most reliable go with the Ruger Factory 20 rounders. I paid $90 each for some before the ban was lifted, you can now find them as low as $35.00 new if you look hard enough. Try www.gunbroker.com. They usually have them for good prices. TWGLADF 0
thanks for the tip on the factory mags. i've been eyeballin em but can't justify the price b/c i'm only wanting them for bench shooting b/c the 30 rounders i have are too long. cdnn has some 20 round "no name" mags for $9.99 but not sure of their reliability. i have a "no name" 30 rounder that has functioned flawlessly since the day i bought it used off EGAY. i may just stick with my factory 5 rounder for shooting off the bench. ironhead7544 35
The Eagle 10 round plastic mags work ok and are cheap.

BattleRifleG3 16
I'm a fan of the straight chiseled mag shape myself. Have no idea what their reliability is like unfortunately.
TWGLADF 0
the shape was the one thing that turned me onto the mags. i believe that there was a metal magazine of that same design manufactured before. if i remember correctly they are super rare and not readily avaliable. wouldn't mind having some metal 20 rounders of that design though.
