okie shooter 0 Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 Was at a gun show this weekend and found a 308 ak style mag there. Its not a Galil but I do beleive chinese NDM-86 mag. Has any one tried one in a .308 saiga or should I just sell or keep this mag and start with something else? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If it only holds 10, you can easily mod the stock mag to hold 10 by trimming a 1/4" off of the follower. I paid $100 for a 25rnd Galil mag and can't bring myself to mod it. Has any one tried one in a .308 saiga or should I just sell or keep this mag and start with something else? If it is the chinese mag, it appears to have a compatible shape at the top of the mag. You may have to get rid of both of the bumps at the top front of the mag, as well as cutting away a little metal so it will insert all the way. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
