headshot 52
I'm converting my saiga to a pistol grip version, but I am going to keep the factory forend. Does anyone know of any folding stocks, preferably one that isn't a skeleton, that match the color of the factory forend?
IndyArms 10,186
There are quite a few stocks out there that come in ... ( I hate to say it... SNICKER... CHUCKLE...) BLACK! LOL Sorry... I couldnt resist... Seriously, though... the standard black composite AK furniture will match up PRETTY DECENTLY... as far as folding stuff... I am not an expert on that by any stretch... soryy I cant help with that aspect. Other than that... with metal stuff, for a folder... its kinda touch and go... good luck... If thats not what you were looking for as an answer.. I guess I misunderstood... you dont have a wood forearm, right? Black synthetic?
BattleRifleG3 16
If your wood forearm is beech, I have several stocks and grips in progress that will match it given the proper finish (you could refinish it all.) If your forearm is synthetic, I found my S-X39 handguard, Tapco SAW grip, K-Var NATO length buttstock, and polish synthetic mag all to match color and texture beautifully. headshot 52
What I meant was actually the color. I got a bulgarian stock from a stamped AK that doesn't seem to match at all. It doesn't quite have the same color.
BattleRifleG3 16
If you are talking about the synthetic handguard, a K-var stock and tapco SAW grip are excellent matches.

For the PG I got an ergo grip by Falcon Industries. I just ordered a new stock from Ultimak.

headshot 52
--> QUOTE(G O B @ Mar 11 2006, 07:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> +1 for Ergo grip. G O B Yeah, I got one on my AR and its better than anything I've tried. There is a sweet looking one by Tango down I am considering upgrading to. It has a battery compartment in it that looks like it would hold a tube of CLP and a broken shell extractor.
