I actually hardly ever carried it cross body, as I'm not in Iraq currently...lol I would just use it like a standard sling. Comfortable as hell. If you wanted it up-down vertical in middle of back. It's almost there. I think you would be happy. But.....as I here the words from you saying .50..... I hope we are talking AR .50....or maybe LAR .50... If you are talking any weapon over 42" in length, and over 12 pounds loaded. I would counsel you against it. Yes this sling could "possibly" carry a FN Minimi M249 S.A.W. , or a M240G LMG....as far as weight.... but you wouldn't like it.......LOL Link to post Share on other sites
