Just picked 'er up today locally, first non-454casull revolver I've ever owned.

 

Such a dream to shoot, a perfect double action trigger that still hits primers with authority.

Buuuh- I can't decide whether that looks amazing or all wrong...

 

Depends on what you're after. I really do not like tradition smiths. Only company making revolvers I like the looks of is ruger, but I only like the full underlug GP100s.

My dad has an SP101 that he got for me to shoot. I like the looks and craftsmanship, but it just feels clumsy in the hand. Whereas the classic Smiths feel so right and are so easy to shoot fast and accurate close or far.

Obviously all of the things that feel wrong for me, may feel right for you. I do like ruger's barrel profile. It is very smooth and modern.
