WTS: Used SIG-Sauer Pro 2340 pistol in .40 caliber. This pistol comes with three ten round mags. The pistol and mags were sent to Ron Mahovsky and the Metalife hard chrome finish was applied. The Metalife finish, otherwise known as SS Chromium M. Metalife looks like stainless steel, but has a hardness of about 71 on the Rockwell Scale, which is even harder than stainless steel. It is guaranteed not to chip, crack or peel when applied to metal in good condition, and it is highly rust resistant and holster-wear resistant. The Metalife process cost over $100.00 FYI. I bought the Tromix trigger guard, and G2 FCG from Mississippi Auto Arms. The total conversion time took me about 45 minutes from start to finish. I also used a US made Nato length stock and pistol grip I bought from K-Var about 4 years ago. A drill, dremel, hammer and a punch was all that I needed to retrofit my gun to the pistol grip configuration. I also used 4 nylon plugs I found at the local Ace Hardware to plug the holes from the old trigger group. I think the hardest part of the conversion was getting that damned bolt hold open installed. I needed about 4 hands to get it installed!

How many mags do the pouches hold?

I imagine you that would give your local conservation officer a fit if he saw an 8 round mag hanging out of your Saiga shotgun. His response might be something like " Boy that doesn't look like any duck gun I've ever seen before!".

Can you tell me where to get a template to aid in placement of the pistol grip hole?

WTK: I want to convert my Saiga 12 to the pistol grip configuration, but I am not sure how to cut the hole for the pistol grip. Does anyone have an easy way to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
