  1. Those new Saiga 7.62s that look like Arsenals are a steal. Tim's threading my Saiga 5.45. I plan to drive back and pick it up on the 26th.
  2. Someone stopped in to Security and Military Depot lol. I'll be going tomorrow!
  3. To revive a dead thread and reach out to other Western PAers: I was stupid and went to the monroeville gun show that weekend.. NEVER AGAIN!
  4. I'll bump it up again. Kind of a cruel to not give any updates on a potential game changer for the S.308.
  5. My buddy has an Osprey on his S&W M&P15 and loves it. It's a shame CMMG isn't well reviewed b/c it is the only long stroke retro-fit kit. If you're building one, I suggest springing for the the PWS Buffer Tube. It will prevent carrier tilt when the piston strikes and moves the bolt. Alot of newer piston kit bolts are modified in the back to help preventing the tilt. Only reason I have no gone with a piston AR is two reasons: In a SHTF scenerio there is that can go wrong (more moving parts) which means you would need a healthy supply of replacement parts. And I own a Sig556 which co
  6. Driving to Eastern, Pa (Scranton area) on the 9th via I-80. Any people out east interested need to let me know prior so I can bring the gun.
  7. I was always curious about the 154gr. Never bought any but I guess I won't now. That's a shame it sucks. I was hoping it would be a nice heavy hitting round for car doors and such. But I guess that regular 124 would be fine.
  8. I don't even have mine yet and I think I'm gonna need another for my X39 build that will take the place of my FTE/FTF prone WASR.
  9. understandable. i shot it again on saturday as part of a potential sales pitch.... the guy loved it and then said he'd be willing pay $1,000 after clearly saying in the email he wanted it for $1400. He thought I was desperate to sell... HA!
  10. Thanks. I love long range. I just bought an M1A to replace this and will be getting the M110 in 300 Win Mag.
  11. prices now reflect included shipping. does that entice anyone?
  12. Thanks! That at least tells me I should get one before the rail gets here. I take it is an even swap? 1 for 1?
  13. I'm willing to ship, but it's going to cost. Finding a box to fit it and all the stuff to package it up safe plus shipping. I mean if there is a person that wants it, I am willing to work with them.
  14. Reach out and touch someone! Driving to Scranton, Pa area Friday-Sunday. I can bring the gun if you're out that way. I just need to know ahead of time.
  15. I think it is unknown if it will fit other rifles just yet, I'm hoping it does and that's why I ordered it. I don't want to slap a UTG on it b/c I hated how it looked on my other one.
  16. I'm taking a chance and just ordered one for my Saiga 5.45.
  17. Anyone looking for a precision rifle that is so badass Chuck Norris is jealous?

  19. You get can get a TWS rail or a Midwest Industries side rail that mounts so low that it touches the dust cover. To answer your question, yes, the ACOG would be too far forward. Ensure you get the .308 version when you do buy it.
  20. I'd honestly say go with a holosight. The eotech on mine is amazing.
  21. My dealer converts his 5.45 saigas and DOES NOT put the bullet guide in. It uses AK74 Mags and the factory saiga mags.
  22. I never shot out far enough to compare. That's why I just decided to sell it, keep my 16 and aim for a 5.45 next
