  1. From what i have read, your accuracy on a slug through a smooth bore barrel is around 50 yards...And with a rifled barrel around 100 yards... I would like to have a rifled barrel to shoot the 3" IXL 870 grs dixie slug...Definately a hog stopper as well as anything else that walks on four legs...
  2. Anyone know of a Barrel Manufacturer who could make a Rifled slug barrel for the MKA 1919?

I would rathe buy the T&N two ten round mags with dual mag clamps for $195.00...Twenty rounds available with this combo and I'm less likely to use the 18 round mags for a walking stick....It would make a good club for home defense if you missed with all 18 rounds though!!!.....LOL.....just kidding ...it's deffinately a 3-gun mag

  8. Mr.BlahX3 No i didn't....I have the Long F.B. XN Hand-guard with the Stainless Steel op rod!...Op Rod is built like a tank, Solid Stainless in the white (non Anodized)...Just in from Saiga Stock last Saturday!
  9. I put my op rod in a vice between two pieces of wood and tightened it to the point of not wanting to put anymore pressure on the rod....Guess what happend! It didn't budge!! But heating it like was mentioned in the previous post did the trick!! You dont have to heat it but just to where its really warm to the touch...After heating the op rod broke free and easy.... My thoughts is if it doesn't break free by locking the op rod in a vice and turning the upper by hand you should use heat to keep the rod from possibly shearing off into the upper receiver..I don't like the Idea of putting my

    MKA Handguard

I had to return My long Firebird Handguard to the place i purchased it from....They will send me the XN version when they get it in....One thought after checking out the Firebird HG is that it's a beautiful work of art and built Very Very Well......It has the best look to me of all the other's offered out there as of this time....but thats my personal opinion. I also like the Anodized finished color they use as well...
