Other than a few weeks ago when I fired 300+ rounds through it, and it functioned flawlessly, I haven't really abused it to much yet. I have done a few things to it, though. 1) I did about 400 spring compressions with a shotgun cleaning rod and a mop tip, and detected no difference in spring tension. My hand got tired (I'm not used to that up and down motion anymore, since I am happily married) so I gave up. If I recall it is a chrome-silcon spring or something, so it won't wear out. 2) I threw it down the hill on hard-packed dirt/gravel mix, full of 30 rounds when walking down

I though the 14 to 24mm adapter added .2" and that should be just enough to clear the 16" mark??? They are made to help the 104 types which is about an inch longer than a Draco. but they bring the 104 barrel to 16.3-16.4". The draco with the cone mounted on the adaptors sold by apex should clear the 16" mark, unless I am missing something

Jim, Im thinking the whole unit with the aimpoint is to bulky and comes up to high. I like everything I own to be compact. It is good to see that its not polymer, that will definately put this thing in the running. I dont like the rings as a connection point ether. Anyway when you get one please do a write up on it as you are one of the select few members whose opinion I value.

Jim, is that mount polymer? It looks futuristic almost like the head designer at Tapco had a child with the owner of Kel-Tec and than that child subsequently designed a mount... I mean, I am not going to call this product an abortion (just yet), but it looks heavy, encumbering and awkward. I will wait for the final product to come out before giving it the official Sal-Thumbs-Down.

The mod looks extremely easy. It requires no riveting, or pinning. You should be able to do it.

Because the personality type that typically joins Law Enforcement tends to follow orders.
