  1. Will do. Probably wont be out shooting for another week or so just because wife says i need a break I picked up everything from mississippautoarms at reasonable prices. Quick shipping as well. Im waiting on the Tromix FCG to get in and deciding between the Chaos tri/quad rails as well to complete it. http://www.mississippiautoarms.com/index.p...products_id=339
  2. Anyone know how to get a hold of SGM tactical? I cant seem to find a webpage or any contact info. Thanks.
  3. Yes, addition of the PG makes the gun "non-sporting". Oh. My mistake. So has anyone used this grip/stock? Mine just got in today and I hopefully will get a chance to slap it on either tonight or tomorrow. Depends on the kids nap time! Took about 15 mins to install. Looks good feels good. Also popped in tapco gas piston at same time.
  4. Just going by the information ive been finding over in the 922r and tech section on the PG turning the shotty into non sporting, regardless of mag capacity. Wish i could get a consensus. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showto...mp;#entry317536 Also everything i turn up through google tells me that once a PG is installed on the saiga 12 you have to make it 922r compliant. So right now you are the only person telling me im wrong. If I am wrong i want to know before i blow anymore money. I have been doing my research as much as possible.
  5. Nothing, they are perfect. I just want the option to use USA made 5 or less round magazines for compliance parts. Using 5 round mags doesn't create any compliance issues. Ok, so if i put a PG and Collapsible stock on my Saiga 12. I thought that made it non sporting, which then triggered 922r. So if i use a 12 rounder surefire which counts as 3 parts and a gas piston, all of which i have, its compliant. But then if i put the russian made magazine back in, i lose 3 parts, but im still non sporting, I am no longer compliant. Am i misunderstanding that? Non-sporting magazines

  9. Had a brand new Surefire 12 round magazine break after shooting all 12 rounds. I removed the magazine from the saiga and the front lip on the top that keeps it snapped in to the firearm was completely snapped off. I wasnt stressing the material in any fashion. Does anyone have experience with Surefire warranty/repair service? I have tried to contact them with no response yet, but its only been 48 hrs so i figured id give them more time. Thanks.
  10. No problem finding 8-12 round USA made mags, and aftermarket Taiwan made 5 rounders. Are there any US made 3-5 round magazines available? Ive tried searching but am coming up empty. thanks.
  11. Just got my Saiga 12 in yesterday! 24" model with threaded barrel, polychoke II, gonna mainly be a Turkey gun, then some shooting fun. Have pistolgrip/buttstock coming in next week, and gas piston, trigger guard so i can be compliant. Also my other evil gun, ewbanks AK47. Small knife is a Boker Automatica Kalishnikov AK74, and bigger knife is a Gerber LMF-II model.
  12. I'd like to know too honestly. I dont want to convert my shotgun either, but really wouldnt mind the pistol grip and was looking at this piece. I had thought that this and the 12 round mag would make my shotgun 922r compliant, but, after this thread my newbie saiga self is not sure. *edit, eff it bought a t6 saiga kit. Ill be sure to post how it goes on next week when it arrives. I think I figured out the 922r stuff, its damned confusing tho. So my gun is legal if i have the T6 installed and the 12 rnd magazine in. If i put the 5 round magazine in, it no longer is legal unless i g
  13. Yeah i decided i didnt care, and have a 24" threaded S12 showing up monday as well as a polychoke. Just need to find a red dot to throw on it. Cant wait
  14. nevermind i found on the front page of the site where to get them from.
