  1. Hey Kris!

While looking for ideas on how to convert my Saiga 308 and 20ga. to bullpups besides the usual kit. I came across your posting on Sept 1, 2008 under "Bullpup Saigas?"

I really like your ideas and am interested in if you complete your modifications as described. I didn't find any follow ups so I thought I would contact you directly.

  2. As for a pocket sized reference manual, I don't think you could go wrong by picking up a British SAS survival guide. The only problem is that it'll cover topics on all hemispheres like rain forest, mountain terrain, arctic etc... which might not apply to your needs. For North American strickly, I would look at the Boy Scout manual as it should be hemisphere specific or at least was when I was in it almost 40 years ago, and full of woodcraft and other necessary skills in the wild.
  3. Dang! And here I thought I got a deal at $576. Oh well! I guess that means I just get another one when the prices come down a little more. This time the 22" inch setup for long range. By the way. Does anyone know if someone offer a conversion to either M1A1 or FN FAL mags? With millions of them floating around they're a whole lot cheaper then the Saiga's High Capacity and a lot easier to come by I'm thinking.
