  1. I know it's been done, but how is it to shoot with? I'm trying to figure out if it would be better or worse for shooting clays and the occasional bird hunting trip. Any input? It's either this or the AR15 style front sight with a ghost ring in the rear...
  2. My setup is a 100% stock 3 port S12. FTE'd the first 3 shots in the "2" setting, but it seemed to loose up after that. Tried bird, and buck, but everything seemed to FTE on "1" setting. Shooting on "2" didn't have any problems after the initial break in. My "12" round surefire mags worked well if I only loaded 12 rounds in it, but when I loaded 13 it would FTE the second round fired. So I'm basically happy, but went up with my friend who had 2 converted S12's, one of which had heavily modified (thereby making my non-converted feel like crap). But I still think I'll get the Tapco T-
  3. Yeah, I didn't notice the airsoft watermark. What are the other options?
  4. Ok, that makes sense now. I was trying something sitting on the actual side of the gun. Being right handed, that would mean that unless you have a front pistol grip, and sight or tach light would be blocked by your front hand. Do you sell that one on Tromix?
  5. I'm down for any DS. The bigger the better. Any time frame on making this happen?
  6. I've thought, searched, and asked, but I can't get an answer for what could possibly mount up on the standard side mount. Anything cool?
  7. Is there a decent pic with a S12 "exploded" with all of the parts labled? I found the one with the photo of the paper one, but I'm looking for the actual parts laying around...
  8. A used XDM .45? I was told by several different people that they didn't exist. Time for some more research...
  9. Yes, mine has a BHO. I'm pretty sure all new S12's have a BHO. Are you sure you know how to use the BHO? I though mine didn't have it at first, then I remembered the button by the trigger. Just making sure
  10. I'm still hoping they make a XDM-45... Great gift and great wife though. Mine was going to buy a similar gift, but you know how $#it happens... (in the form of our dog breaking out TV)
  11. The one I received from Centerfire was the plain ol' threaded/with thread protector model. Mine too. 19" barrel, 3 port (all unobstructed).
  12. I'm assuming you can put the "stock" stock back on if you needed to, right? Didn't I read somewhere that the gas piston doesn't count towards 922R complaince?
  13. I kinda like the looks of that. Let me know how it feel when shooting Did you get the stock/grip and the piston from the same place? If so, who?
  14. Just FYI, mine did get delivered on Monday (on schedule). Can't wait to actually shoot it!
  15. Ok, I don't live in "Denver". I live in Littleton, which is a suburb of Denver, where it's perfectly legal.
  16. Well, I will have mine in hand on Monday! So are there any experienced member who will help out?
  17. I phoned mine in on Monday. They said the special was $529 (IIRC) and after shipping it was $543 Should be here on Monday...can't wait!
  18. Yes, addition of the PG makes the gun "non-sporting". Oh. My mistake. So has anyone used this grip/stock?
  19. I'd like to know too honestly. I dont want to convert my shotgun either, but really wouldnt mind the pistol grip and was looking at this piece. I had thought that this and the 12 round mag would make my shotgun 922r compliant, but, after this thread my newbie saiga self is not sure. *edit, eff it bought a t6 saiga kit. Ill be sure to post how it goes on next week when it arrives. I think I figured out the 922r stuff, its damned confusing tho. So my gun is legal if i have the T6 installed and the 12 rnd magazine in. If i put the 5 round magazine in, it no longer is legal unless i g
  20. I'm about 2 hours from Denver (Penrose)- and have to order my parts still... but let me know if you don't find anyone closer.. the advantage to where I'm at is testing right after finishing the work, since I'm out in the country Have you converted one before?
  21. Bump, anyone? (if self bumping is prohibited, please let me know)
  22. Has anyone used that setup before? Opinions?
  23. Yeah, I'm going to miss the TGS. Too much going on. I know a guy in Loveland who would help me through it, but he's never done one before. I'm hoping someone local to me like doing conversions for people...
