  1. Whick is better a Tromix or Chaos piston pick? Is there any real advantage to owning each over a factory one?
  2. Their are actually female members of this forum!!!??????
  3. Does their drum not work well? See for yourself http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=23155 That is why you said that the joke was really on me for looking at the sight and considering the puck. I had no idea of this reputation.
  4. Is the piston accelerator puck not $35.00? Does it work?
  5. I GOT YOU LAST YEAR TOO!!! YOU'RE TOO EASY BEAN! :haha: Reminder for Bean: As funny as it may be, I am going to buy one of those accellerator piston pucks for $35.00. I would not know about it if it weren't for this curel joke thread.
  6. Could I use a dremal cutting wheel to cut the barrel and a crowning reamer to square it up before threading?
  7. Have you fired 10 rds of 3" magnum shells? That will be the true test.
  8. How does it shoot? Did you have to adjust the gas ports?
  9. I would love to see a picture of it. I have never heard of chrome flaking, but due to the fact that I have never cut a barrel I was just wargaming everything that could go wrong and finding mitigation measures for it. Hard to get a good picture but I did my best. What did you use to cut the barrel?

Hard to get a good picture but I did my best. Do you keep your crown at 90 degrees and then just thread and add your brake or do you use a different angle?
  11. Would a 90 degree crown reamer work as well?
  12. That is my concern. Flaking where I cut the barrel. I just want to get as much info as possible before attempting the project.

  14. I just got my gunfixer plug and it screwed in perfectly with no issues. When I viewed it from the reciever end to see if the settings line up to the gas ports, they actually do and perfectly. With all the mag fittings and barrel threading isses, I am amazed that nothing special had to be done.
  15. Can it be hand held dremal, due to the fact that exsisting holes are being enlarged?
  16. Yeah I know, I am working on some better photos. Photography is not really my thing. Greg Any word on the clear surefire mags? Price, size, availability date?
  17. You could always open the (hopefully) 3 gas ports a little. Or your gun may cycle better as it breaks in, most do. How would I open up the 3 ports if needed?
  18. If I did have to do a gas port mod, what would I likely have to do knowing that my saiga 12 cycles marginally at 19 inch and it is about to be reduced to 18.2 inch?
  19. Is there any cutting techniques that could minimize the chance of chrome flaking? Lathe. What is the consequences of chrome flaking? increased wear? Decreased accuracy with slugs?
  20. Is there any cutting techniques that could minimize the chance of chrome flaking?
  21. It will shoot everything except the winchester AA feather weight #8 low brass. It throws the federal # 7 1/2 low brass about two feet. I have not tried the feather weight since I installed the 25% reduced recoil spring and the gunfixr plug.
  22. Is there any chance of damaging the chrome inside a barrel by cutting the barrel to reduce length? Any chance that this could cause it to flake off?
