  1. Where in PA are you? I PM'd you but haven't heard back yet.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. Ordered 4 to go with my original 2 from you. Is there any way to upgrade the old original ones with the new parts? My only complaint on on the originals is the baseplate. Ross Man go to the webpage and email them directly. I asked them a question and they got back to me quickly.
  3. Thanks for the reference. I didn't know the stepping was a case neck swelling reference. I shoot mostly steel case so I assume that won't be an issue. You mentioned in an earlier post you thought the new one I described sounded like a Legion version. What is that exactly? Thanks.
  4. Thanks for the advice. As far as the stepped chamber goes, where is the ring I'm looking for? Any pictures. I tried looked up more info on that and didn't find anything that clarified what exactly I'm looking for and why or why not I should want it or not. Thanks.
  5. I'm looking at getting a 7.62X39 Saiga. I already have a converted 12 and .308. The local shop to me has a used one without the receiver dimples and a new one with them but it has the dotted out RAA import mark. The used one is marked at 340 and the new one is 380. I'm pretty sure I could get the used one at that price out the door if not cheaper where as the new one will be over 400 out the door. Is there a good reason other than for looks to get the one with receiver dimples, although with the ugly dotted out RAA import mark? Thanks for any insight. -Scott
  6. Look at this website. http://gun-deals.com/ammo Select the caliber you want. Once there put in your zip code to calculate shipping. Looks like there are better deals out there. Copes looked to be cheaper on the Tula. Good luck -Scott
  7. I just picked one up for 475. The cheapest I've seen in awhile so I jumped on it. -Scott
  8. I had that same problem after my conversion. I just picked that side up and bent it outwards slightly and since then I've had no issues with it. -Scott
  9. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I'll run it for now. I might look into getting another one of these. 6 Position Stock. I have one on my WASR 10 AK and I like it. I just have to double check that it is a US part. -Scott
  10. Finally got it all done. Thanks to all those on this forum that contribute such great info, if not for this forum and it's members I never would have gotten this done. Here is a pic of it all done. Saigatech trigger guard, tapco buttstock, Gunfixer gas plug, SGM forward stock, Phoenix Muzzle brake, Tapco G2 trigger group, chaos piston and MD20 Drum.

  12. I'll measure them to double check but I'd assume that Remington STS's are going to be dead on 2 3/4. They are the more expensive shells for trap, skeet and sporting clays over the basic sporting loads they offer.
  13. Thanks for the info. After busting up my fingers loading it 20 times last night it's finally loading much easier. As for the AK drum you need a Chinese or Bulgarian one, much easier to load and unload.
  14. Trust me I am not gentle on things that piss me off, I wasn't afraid of breaking it cause in my mind it was broke already. Well after busting my fingers up and forcing it to load over 20 times last night it's finally starting to load easier. I don't have to force them in quite as much. I'd suggest to Mike at MD to maybe put in a warning that new mags might need to be loaded and unloaded a few times to smooth out the loading process. I can't be the only one that's been in this situation. I'm probably the only one that's posted on it though. Thanks to all those who actually answered my original
