  1. I wish we could pay for stuff with "Pie-Pal"!!
  2. Trying to figure out how to start this darn pie poll.....remember liking pie??? I'm a happy guy....I like pie. Holiday pie story req'd. but I am not sure if this is gonna work....never did a "Poll" post...... well, I'll hit the "post new topic button and see what happens.... edit: not sure if I would eat one of Chilli's pies!
  3. Will trade for ammo DarkHorse: If you are on facebook, you can look me up there. I will approve friend requests, as I use facebook to promote my artwork. I have a ton of tattoo photos there, or look up American Made tattoo in Missoula Montana. I have mostly black/grey work, myself.
  4. I just finished this one about 10 minutes ago. It's called, "The deed was done by dawn".
  5. I agree, that is why I added the fact that they are still available at a "Normal" price. I am happy to be the educated consumer. If folks really believe that my S-x39 is now Worth $2500, in it's converted state, and my S-308 is worth even more, maybe I Will sell them and just go get new ones for cheap, and have the New guns for me. Business is business, but we all know that that means "If it bends over, Fuck-it!!" If I can get 4x the value of my gun, for no real reason but taking advantage of panicing suckers, it is perfectly legal, normal business. As I said, it is just my opinion that I t
  6. Seems to me that whole supply and demand thing is a One-way excuse businessmen use to raise prices. They raise the price of ammo, because they are selling out, and yet when the demand dies down and the shelves are full again the price does NOT go down. I am all for someone trying to get a sucker to pay more than an item is worth and maximise profit, but when the gun shop down the road from me is still selling the same Saiga x39, New, for $329, I guess I am happy to not be that Sucker, but I still think the guy trying to sell one for $1200, with illegal Mags, is a complete ass. But we all know
  7. Greed is an awesome thin isn't it? I just saw an Unconverted Saiga x39 for sale on armslist for $1200 and he was selling it with 2 30rnd mags, and posted a pic with the 30 round mag in the Unconverted NON-922r compliant rifle.
  8. Last half hour of the birthday....Gonna continue with the Bayern Dopplebock lager (8.4%) and what is left of the Whiskey. Jamesons went quickly, so now it is the Makers Mark 46. Thanks for all the good will, and for tolerating my sarcastic bullshit! Lot's of great information from great folks around here! Nice to have 1 place online where I feel at home. Thanks again, and shoot well.
  9. Nice "chair-fart" at the end! Seemed level headed to me, and that is the right attitude right now. Calm clear and concise is NOT what we are getting from the Anti-gun folks, who seem impervious to logic right now.
  10. I don't see what the big deal is........This is pretty much me, every time I eat BACON !!!!!!!!!!
  11. So far, so good. Wally seems to enjoy staring @ the lights on the tree between naps on the couch. 3 weeks new to us, he fits right in, Here is our 2 dogs and the tree. Our cats don't seem to even notice the tree. So, Merry Christmas to all and yer lil' buddies! Yes: that is a Skunk pelt up on the wall above the tree.
  12. I had an AR-10. Very accurate. I sold it and stuck with my S-.308. I enjoy the simplicity and I think the accuracy, although not as good was still very acceptable for hunting. Even in the most normal of survival situations, when you are in the mountains, can simply be a power outage that could last possibly weeks. Cleaning and maintaining an AR platform by Candle light just seems "Less than desireable" to me. It is a simple matter of fewer parts to deal with to me. Saiga accuracy is great and the ease of living is top knotch. I still seem to think from what I have gathered, is that you need t
  13. I think even just a good old fashioned Bolt action hunting rifle would greatly compliment your current set up. 30-06 ammo is really everywhere. You are So well covered for your 100yrd and less range already.
  14. Let me know their names!!! I'll take a few things off their hands, cheap! Good thought though, and maybe a rise in popularity/cost, of revolvers, lever action, and punp guns??(thought to be safe from bans)
  15. I have hunted with one and it isn't too bad. A shotgun is a better food provider over all, though. If you did need to hunt for sustinance and everyone was in the same boat, Game would quikly become very wary of folks and you would actually need to be hunting @ 200-500yrd distances. It really seems to me, just my opinion, that you are missing a Saiga .308 in your collection. But again adding a caliber.
  16. Slugs in your S-12 are better than a .45 at any range. I would likely not use either past 100yds. Spend the $ on slugs and start practicing! I have gotten consistant 6" groups @ 100yds. with slugs through an S-12. so why bother getting yet another gun.
  17. Just thinking that we picked a Helluva day to release our new "Gun-themed" shirts, eh?
  18. I made a new design for our shirts @ work and thought you folks may like it, so why not share. I have already had a couple folks say "An AK isn't American, why didn't you use an AR?".......to which I simply reply, "Let's not start that debate." Anyway here it is.
  19. Yeah, most galleries want 40%, so, I sell them @ the tattoo shop and keep 100%. This is still a low price though, for the amount of time I put into each one....but it gets them out there into folks homes! Thanks for all of the encouragement folks!!
