Sweet Weapon!!..Wish it was a 9 Tactical w/threaded barrel...I'd go in debt for it.....Altho Most like it in 45 anyways...it ott'a go fast!..

Academy,Big5,or Wally mart ..don't keep the boxs..already went thru that...& if you price one at a gun shop that has a box..it's like $35....More than that for the GunGuards....Besides..if you buy one of the heavy duty cases..They weigh more..& shippers get paid by weight...

Well..actually the Taurus is a 45 Long Colt..but it also allows a 410 SG shell to be fired in it.. But since ya mentioned 44cal...I've shot a Smith&Wesson Mod 629 that had a 8 3/8ths " barrel,that had a choke similar to the Saiga External chokesthat were about 3" long...that was hell on dove & Clays ..when using those special 44mag shot shells that had the extended little blue capsules loaded with shot.. My bud,the owner of the Smith 44mag..was really great @ bust'n clays with it.. It would still shoot 44mag ammo...as long as ya removed the chokes..:-)

I use those heavy duty wide Wire Ties..allthe way around the case in several places..& the small ties in all the lock loops..pulled" tighter than dicks hat band" as my Ol Gran'Pa used to say..LOL!!..I don't think a lock would be necessary..because if somebody wants in it..they're going to get in it anyway..another..is the key is too easy to lose..(Where are you gonn'a put the key??..on the inside ??or mail it to your Destination??... I have had the USPS postal fruitcakes tear the hell out of even the cases..but I have always had good luck/service with UPS{The Guys in Brown}..as Tony

..If I were you..I would invest in a cheap case from Academy or somewhere..Wally mart..etc..& ship it in the plastic case...thats the way I have avoided any future damages that Our Wonderous Mail/postal carriers put our guns thru...Mine cost about $10 from academy sports or Big 5...I've suffered your same ordeal until I wised up to their don't care attitude...in handle'n weapon shipments...just my 02cents...:-)

All my Saigas have shot birdshot ammo...Even non converted NIB..Especially after break in periods....That letter is most likely to cover themselves on such probs..as shooting cheapy crappy ammo in it..Actually ALL automatic Shotguns are supceptible to such acts as using cheap crappy ammo....If you've ever bought a Remy 1100 series.. SG...they state to absolutely NOT shoot low velocity ammo in it & no warranty from Remington Implies that it will.. I'd just break the saiga12 in...sooner or later it will shoot anything ya wanna put in it..just don't go bitch'n to where ya bought it from..tha

..Sure seems a Damn shame to have to weld a threaded barrel choke to a Shotgun...meant to have full use of different settings....Siigh!!..

I didn't check yet..but I suppose it has a rifled barrel??..Look'n at yours...does it look like the barrel is thick enough to adapt a full choke to it??.or maybe thread it for a screw on choke???[sorta like the TC contender]Is yours the 6.5" barrel??.. i can pick this one up for about $425 cash NIB..with all pw etc.. or he wants one of my Glock 26s for it..It's the stainless model.. I handled one of those way dn south of the border a good while back..Didn't get a chance to shoot it..Didn't feel much longer than a regular Saiga SG.. I didn't know it was a combo likethe M3 benelli at the time..Wish'd i could'a made off with it..It was taken off a Cuban drug smuggler..& only dropped once..

Has anybody had a chance to own or shoot one of these 45Long Colt /410 SGshell pistolas with a 6.5" barrel??..Got a chance to buy one at a good deal..& was just ponder'n buy'n it.. Also..Has anybody spotted a good deal on a S&W Mod# 617 in a ten shot cyl 6" w/target hammer & trigger in Stainless Steel?? if so give me a shout purty pleez!..

On my s410 it was #1 was cyl,#2 was mod,#3 was full...& the kittle smaller one ws just a thread protector.. There was another #3 that was ported that came with an older model S410..that had no Gas adjustment..& shot 3" shells only..

Most all my new Saigas were like that...till I bought some Hivel loads & shot the shit out of em....After they got broke in..they ate everything I would put in em..Did you notice if it had 4 ports or three??..I had less trouble with the 4 port models....but even the 3 port eventually shot great after break-in.. just my nickels worth of experience with Saiga SGs..

I have about 2 lbs of flechette spicks. Can anyone confirm if it is legal to produce this ammo? Also does it hurt your barrel, being that they are steel? How much powder should I use? Any info from someone experienced would greatly apperciated. are these mexican? Now..Now..let's be politically correct here!!!...those are "UN-documented" flechettes!!!! heh-heh!..Sorry..couldn't resist!!...

It was done by a Lic'd Gunsmith/FFL title 3 Gunsmith...But i ws just wondering what the "self Doers" ..DO..in such a case??
