  3. I recently decided to do some custom paint work on my 7.62X39. Just wondering if anyone in here has some experience or suggestions when it comes to painting your gun. I'm looking for durable, and if possible scratch resistant paint or spray paint. Let me know and feel free to post any pictures of your painted gun.
  4. Thinking about purchasing Springfield Armory's XDM 40 cal. in black at my local dealer for $525 brand new in the case. I think it will go along nicely with my Saiga 7.62. I was just wondering anybody's opinion on accuracy, ammunition, concealability etc.
  5. This girl's hair weave stopped a .40 caliber bullet from ending her life. Lucky or what? http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/02...-40-cal-bullet/
  6. XDM 9mm 19+1. Pretty accurate and reliable gun.
  7. Do you know of any with the open frame style?
  8. Looking to purchase a red dot sight for my 7.62x39 with a gift card I've had for dicks sporting good's since christmas. Looking to spend around $100 so I was wondering what's the best bang for the buck. I've been looking at this one http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/...oductId=2850511 as it is relatively cheap and I like that style. Anybody have a red dot sight around that price range their willing to elaborate on?
  9. How bout you come do it for me? Since it bother's you so much. It's a college dorm and I have no intentions on cleaning it when I'm leaving in 4 months. Wow who says that on a gun forum?
  10. 9+1. If 10 rounds of Federal EFJM (Expanding Full Metal Jacket) won't do the job, then you probably should've just chucked your gun at the dude. When I shot the milkjug with the .40, it literally exploded and was torn into two different pieces. It went all the way through and I recovered it in the wooden backdrop. It measured .81 inches. FYI, the bullet on the right is a .380 Hydroshock fired from a Bersa Thunder. Nice little gun, nasty little bullet. That is a nasty little bullet. Would not want to be on the receiving side of that. I decided to get the 23 only because I can get a g

  12. What's the mag capacity on the 27?
  13. Tapco t6 works fine for me. I would recommend going and getting better and longer screws as the hardware they supply are very cheap.
  14. I agree convert then sell if you must.Or move easier said then done. I am a college student and have no where to move till I graduate a year from now. So yeah, moving is not a option. I'm curious, you don't have a place to shoot the Saiga, but you do have a place to shoot the M4? The M4 was purchased at a ridiculously low price ($400 His rent was due and college students are desperate), therefore I purchased it. I shot it a couple of times and it was in good condition. I was thinking about selling the m4 and the saiga to acquire a arsenal of handguns but this forum keeps

  16. I agree with you. I should just grow a pair and convert the fucker. I think you have inspired me rangemaster.
  17. Central Florida is known for its skyscrapers, Nightlife, and high-grade marijuana. No where to shoot a assault rifle. Everglades are south my friend, you def. should brush up on your geography.
  18. I know I should have both but there is no where to shoot the Saiga in Central Florida (orlando). All the ranges don't allow Rifles and the only way to go to a range is to join a club with a $300 minimum membership, which I don't have. I figured I'd keep the m4 for the zombies and if I can get a glock I can at least shoot at the indoor ranges. Any suggestions?
  19. Well everybody the time has come to get rid of this saiga. I recently purchased a M4A3 and have no need for the 7.62x39. Thing is im really interested in purchasing a glock 23 so does anybody wanna trade?
  20. Sorry Bizzarolibe but I think this one is a keeper. I plan on selling it when i get the money to convert. Perhaps I'll contact you then?
