  1. I have a M4 clone from them on my AR. Its nicely built. I'm waiting for the reviews on the micro they are coming out with. I may get that or the Burris Fastfire II for the saiga...
  2. yeah you had to take some material off inside the grip so it would snug up, but if it would have been too much space then it would have bent out when I tightened the bolt. I did it very little bits at a time and kept checking it anyway, so I really dont think there was any gap. Gotcha!
  3. Could the slot where the grip meets the receiver be too deep? I don't know how it sits on the receiver. (I'm thinking of my AR grip where is slips on to the receiver) They did say some modification is needed right? What kind of modification? Maybe as the grip was tightening down it started to pull on the trigger guard. Maybe I'm looking at the picture wrong, but that's kind of what it looks like to me..
  4. I see. Just curious since I just received my DIY trigger guard, and a SAW grip.
  5. just curious, how did the tromix "bend" after 5 rounds? what caused it to bend?
  6. I wouldn't. Mr. Hadley is a good guy. All the positive things said about him cant be bad right? It will come. I guarantee he got swamped with orders because of the sale. patience my friend.
  7. that thing looks better every time I see it! good job man!
  8. hope mine comes soon! I'm getting anxious!
  9. I had been wanting a shotgun for some time. I have a mosin, .22, and a AR-15 that is being built. I wanted a boom stick. Got researching shotguns and came across the wonderful saiga line of weapons. A local forum sponsor was having a Memorial day sale with several siagas on the list. Of course I found it the day after his sale ended. Another guy and I posted saying we wish we had found it sooner, and next thing you know we both got PMs saying two buyer of saigas backed out at the last second. And offered the saigas to us. the sale price was $455 + shipping, plus a transfer fee at my local FFL.
  10. that's the same optic I have been eye-balling for my saiga. The owner and a few others have used them on larger caliber guns (.50, 44mag, .308, shotgun). here is the link... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=2&...25&t=174339
  11. the mags count as 3 parts (if us made). If you put a hi-cap mag in a stock saiga, I believe it makes it non-sporterized. And that's when the 922r comes into effect. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
  12. got the request for the rest of the payment last night! its paid off now! cant wait to get it!
  13. I read on here somewhere that they recommend at least 1300 fps for break in. I was using Remington express long range (buck shot, I think), 1330 fps, and I had no issues at all, went through about 50 of those, and then 5 sabot slugs at 1700fps. Then I went through about a whole box of walmart bulk pack federal multipurpose load. I had 2 stove pipes, and 1 that didn't eject on its own. When I pulled the bolt back manually it came out then. I never changed from gas setting 1, even with the federal...I may shoot it in stock form a few more times, but I'm already gathering parts for the conversion
  14. this one? http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=262 its in the FAQ section just above the saiga 12 section.
