My New TOY - Kubota BX25 Tractor
Boba Debt replied to Boba Debt's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
We aren't rich but we are financially stable This is the only payment we have other then out house and I would pay it off in a year if it wasn't at 0% financing When you buy the BX25 you get a great deal on it, buying the back hoe as an accessory costs a lot more I got the entire set up for less then $21k That includes $ $1200 for state tax, $1100 for Kubota Insurance coverage, and $1150 for the Box Blade / Rake, and they gave me the 3 point hitch which is an $200 option on the BX25 I will probably use the back hoe more then the average person. I have a -

I have been having a blast with it. I hope to use this as an income source in my retirement years. We live in a large subdivision so I'm sure I'll always be able to find a odd job to generate some pocket change -

I own 2, the f-ing awesome I'm going to buy the PDW in the next couple months -
This was my Fathers Day gift. It came as pictured with the front end loader and back hoe. I added a rake and box blade. I have big plans for this, the first thing I did with it was dig a hole to put all of the concrete and brick chunks that are a real PITA to get rid off. Today I tried it out on a stump and it performed superbly, I'm going to have a blast with this

F-35 fail?
Boba Debt replied to Squeaky's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
"Cost has more than doubled and the goddamn thing still doesn't fly." Really, I've seen it fly and I guess all those vids are CGI "It's too heavy to be a vtol" Only when fully loaded which is the same as the Harrier, which was another platform that was considered a debacle when it was first built. "doesn't have enough wing area to be a carrier bird" There is a carrier variant 'doesn't have enough load capacity to be a bomber" Total BS "isn't maneuverable enough to be a fighter" Total BS "and costs way more t -
F-35 fail?

I work on these and some of the claims made in this thread are ridiculous -
I own several Glocks and I own a variety of other pistols including XDMs and XDSs They all seem to work the same for me, including my Canik TP-9s that I cost $300 I will probably buy the 43 and if they release a SS 45 I'll get that too To everyone that is saying a Glock needs a grip safety, it is obvious that you do not understand how the striker works in a Glock. When you rack the gun it is only back about 20%, pulling the trigger is the only way to pull the striker back far enough to discharge the gun. There is no need for any additional safeties Now, for

DO I HAVE A PROBLEM PART # 2
Boba Debt replied to THE NEW GUY's topic in General Discussion - Any topic is welcome here!!!
I recently got moved to the F-35 program and I'm working 7 days a week with some weeks being 12s so I don't have much time to work in my shop. Email me the info and I'll see what I can do for you -

I never understand why people bitch about Cap Locked posts. I spent 13 years in the Corps and never utilized lower case letters when writing, it was all caps. -

The New Guy: Don't know if you're a repeat offender or not but either way this is exactly why I don't post much here anymore. I got similar harassment when I first joined but stuck it out and tried to part of this community until it just became to much like work. I like to share my projects and I thin I added something to this forum but eventually it just wasn't worth it. I stop by once in a while but this place isn't very high up on "must check" list of forums. -

I originally wanted the titanium version and that's my favorite, although I am going to get 2 more in black. I'm picking one up this week. I have put more time into them at the range and I shoot them better then my Glocks, XDSs and XDMs. They just don't sit well on my hip, otherwise I would use as my EDC. -
Good shooting Gloves

Thanks for the offer but I can get those locally. I have used them in the past and like them too but they are a light glove that works well in the summer I bought the Mag Grip gloves for winter use. -

I have used Mechanix gloves in the past but these seem to fit the triggers better and feel better on my hands -

I just bought a set of "Mag Grip" work gloves from Lowes and for $12 they make some excellent shooting gloves. Very tacky and I could fit my finger in every gun I tested.

So far the auction has 93 views but only one bid This is kind of disappointing If anyone is leery of this because they may think it is a scam I can assure you it’s is legitimate. The money goes directly to the American Breast Cancer Foundation via the Ebay Giving program and I have offer free shipping. If you have a moment please check out the auction and if you are so inclined place a bid BTW: Please keep this thread bumped because this a for a good cause

I know I have not been around for a while but I have been very busy at work and with some side projects. However, I do have time to SAVE THE TATAS I recently hosted a custom action figure painting contest on a popular movie forum The selected contestants had to choose a theme and paint a 12” Titan Iron Man Figure in that Theme, here are the entries: One of the themes was a Breast Cancer Awareness Figure that I intended to auction on ebay & give 100% of the proceeds to The Breast Cancer Foundation Here is that entry Unfo
