  1. I love my UTG quad rail. It is rock solid, holds zero, has taken a hell of a beating, been put through numerous stress tests and thousands of rounds. I don't see what everyone elses beef with it is, other than it is made by a foreign knockoff brand. Who cares? It works. This is one time that the whole "You get what you pay for" slogan didn't apply. Or did I just magically get the best quadrail they made off their factory line, by some random fluke - and all the other ones suck? I don't know... either way, like I said - I love mine.
  2. Be careful! I bought the same NcStar red/green dot sight and it blew up in my face when I tried using it on a .223 - the glass screen popped out into my face and broke, luckily I was wearing safety goggles. I have heard people say NcStar is ok, NcStar is good or whatnot, but I have tried them myself and I have had bad experiences. They are made mostly for airsoft guns, or perhaps a .22LR. 7.62x39 is gonna kill that thing, let alone the thing won't even hold zero after firing one shot.
  3. updated pic with ww2 od green duracoat and new utg rails:
  4. So I got a UTG Quad Rail today for my 7.62x39 This one And I used to have the SGM Tactical plastic one Everyone hates all over on this board on UTG And praises SGM Well here is my opinion, and I am free to say this I am not rating products over their "brand name" or "country of origin" I am rating them on how I use them and how easy they are to use The UTG Quad Rail is amazing Everyone here says it sucks, but it clamped on my Saiga so perfect Wow This thing is amazing That is all I can say It feels perfect on the rifle, looks perfect, all metal, and it doesn't wobble or mo
  5. I think that could have been sold for $750 to somebody I think. Especially where I live, considering it is $300-$400 for new Saiga rifles, and $600+ for new Saiga shotguns at the local gun shop, adding a scope and mount and the T6, albeit noob setup that I used to have, it should be at least worth more than the original Saiga price.
  6. YOU IDIOTS! I SAID FLASH, NOT FRAG!
  7. Seriously, I would buy a Kaos or Kross if it were made for a 7.62x39 Anything beats that stupid plastic Surefire HG I wasted $75 on that wobbles and won't hold zero.
  8. So um, you guys are obviously saying Kaos and Kross are better for our Saigas, but they don't make them for anything but 12g? What if we don't have a 12g?
  9. I've seen some crazy rounds for sale online in 7.62x39 and all other calibers, which ones would be the best to stock up on?
  10. I'm not bashing SGM or their products Let me say this again Look guys I'M NOT HERE TO BASH SGM I'm bashing the $80 dollars I payed for a wobbly forearm that I'm 100% sure I installed correctly Please understand, I didn't make this post to whine about how I think this companies products are I'm sure they are fabulous, that wasn't what I came here to say The product functions perfectly, it just moves, and a moving forearm is not a good thing The Saiga I purchased, I bought in 2005 and was used It is possibly modified or changed in someway that the gastube isn't flush with brand new forea
  11. I never said anything bad about the company or their products All I said is SGM Tactical Tri-Rail Forearm - POS Implying that the one I purchased was a POS Funny thing is, this site is oriented on helping people, but here, along with every other person in real life I ask for help to fix gun problems (because I'm not a gunsmith) just seems to get angry, upset, impatient, and doesn't want to help or work with me Maybe I should just sell my Saiga
  12. Oh and PS I described my problem incorrectly, it doesn't move up and down, it moves side to side. Hard to describe in words, maybe I need to make a video to show? Here try this: grab your forearm and wiggle your hand, does it move? That's my problem. Cause mine moves. Or do they all move a little bit?
  13. Hahahah I love how friendly you guys are I tried re-installing it eleventeen times... Doesn't seem to fix anything Maybe I got a FACTORY DEFECT?
  14. NOTE: Due to people getting upset about their assumptions, I must clarify: I am not saying SGM is a POS, or this product is a POS, but the one I got indeed seems to be a POS It doesn't fit right, and doesn't work right, it isn't my fault because I know for a fact I installed it correctly NOTE #2: LET ME SAY THIS AGAIN: I am not bashing SGM or their products, I am not calling their products POS's or their company a POS, only the product I got and how it works and fits on my rifle... somewhere along here is a problem Hello, I purchased a Tri-Rail forearm made by SGM from Mississipi Arm
