  1. Owned my Saiga-12 for 12 years and been a member here since 2005. Finally converted. Tapco G2 trigger, butt & pistol grip. I had a bit of fun as the bits I got didn't have the shepherds crook retaining spring, but came with the steel retaining plate, this is impossible to fit with the BHO. I ended up using the original spring & refitted the forward retaining pin for the original trigger to keep the spring in place. The BHO was a pain, had to grind about 3/16" off the bottom as it was fouling on my trigger finger Getting all the parts & a police permit to do the
  2. Here's a couple pics of mine: Rail related to wood. Notice how high it is on the receiver. Almost up to the bottom of the dust cover. Rail picture with stock removed. Top view to show how rail is mounted and how far left. Link to a picture of the style of mounting I think the rifle should have come with: http://kalinkaoptics.com/molot-vepr-super-top-mount-weaver-rail.html I agree this is the mount that should have come with the rifle, but I think a better solution than removing the rear support legs from the mount is perhaps to remove the side rail, then install
  3. Have a look at the Kalinka weaver top mount - it is much better than the side mount. I found the side mount was too flexible. The super has a dovetail on the rear sight that this mount clamps on to. The rear "legs" need to be removed from the mount. http://kalinkaoptics.com/molot-vepr-super-top-mount-weaver-rail.html
  4. Not sure I should be telling this... When I was about 20, this bird I was shagging wanted it about 5 times a day. I told one of my mates that my d*ck would get crusty by the end of the day. One of them started calling me "Agatha" - as in "Agatha Crusty"
  5. Hey Sylvester, Is that Bombay Hills N.Z? Guncity in Christchurch have been selling 7 round mags for NZ$200. These are the 8 rounder with a spacer block glued to the bottom spring seat.
  6. Has anyone here bought from http://posp.ru/ ? can they be trusted? The prices look OK to me - about half the price I would pay from a shop in New Zealand.

    What is it??

Gidday from New Zealand! I've been checking out the forum for a couple of months now, thought I should join in. 18,3 is 18.3mm = .720" so must be full choke. I like my Saiga cos when I miss the first clay bird the other 4 rounds just seem to go all by themselves!
