  1. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7794527529226066500# I didn't have to be. And more... And nobody shot back... That's the problem. And if you tell me those cops/soldiers didn't deserve to be shot, I'll tell you you're already a slave.
  2. Around these parts, it seems more people are trying to sell/grow/manufacture drugs seeing as how so many jobs are gone, but people still need money. (Michigan) I would say drugs are up. Crime? More break-ins and robberies... or so it seems. The bums here in Kalamazoo are certainly getting more aggressive, but nobody is handing out like they did in better times. They're getting desperate.
  3. As for confiscation... yeah, the National Guard did just that. People were safe in their homes with their weapons, protecting their property. The National Guard happily confiscated those peoples guns, leaving them at the mercy of thugs (Other thugs besides the ones who just stole weapons at gunpoint) and arresting those who refused... even the elderly. If you think your neighbors won't tell the troops about your guns, or if you think US soldiers/guardsmen/police are above kicking in doors and taking your guns by force, you haven't been paying attention to reality. The worst part was, nobod
  4. Was it an older one, before they were chrome barreled? I've never had so much as a hiccup from my PLR16.
  5. The ugly truth is, without the anti-gun laws, and the LEOs who willingly enforce them, the thugs who find it safe to rob and kill would be out of business. The same goes for many other criminals who can only exist when good people are prevented from stopping them. We need to work with our friends in the LEO community to take back our country.
  6. These guys deserve our respect. They give their lives for us. They deserve the same respect as the soldiers airmen and seamen. A Veteran is someone who in his life wrote a blank check made payable to The USA for an amount "up to and including my life" Well, his surviving family deserves the respect and courtesy of that same letter. Sure, it's a small act, but it is important. "For those who have fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know." Show some respect. It's the least you can do. They get the letter... it just says "Department of the Navy".
  7. I have a PLR 16, and I will recommend the SU16 or the PLR every time. The only difference being stock and barrel options. Piston AR... light weight... reliable... and a lifetime warranty with an American company. Does it get better? If KelTec wanted to expand the design and create a 12guage based on the piston driven, composite receiver design, I wouldn't be building this Saiga.
  8. Rails offer options if you need them. They are an investment, and add weight. Which is more important to you? If you want an eotech, flip ups, or anything else on the top, you have to attach it to something, and a quad rail does it in one simple package. You can always take it back off.
  9. How about we save the money we would spend on new stationary alone, and give the guys some better gear, training, or support for their families? Don't we have better things to do than play with letterhead?
  10. That tool bag is awesome. I have a smaller one, but for some reason I only thought to put tools in it. I'll take a pick of my laptop bag and my PLR16... even though my DPMS levang has made the barrel just a little too long to fit right in the bag I was using. But you have a point, laptops and guitars are still things that would attract the attention of a thief... not as much as a gun... but enough that I would like to find better ideas. I was actually debating doing some major surgery to my back seat. The space just under the bottom cushion looks very plausible for long guns, but
  11. And not to forget those who don't want to look like a skeevy stoner with an "Axe"... http://cgi.ebay.com/Targus-Large-Two-Laptop-Computer-Storage-Side-Bag-Case-/110534385358?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19bc5cdece One slot for the real laptop, and one for a Draco, or any other large pistol (s?). The pockets fit AR mags perfectly in some of these.
  12. How about these? http://cgi.ebay.com/Electric-guitar-Hard-Shell-Case-HSC-LOCKING-W-KEYS-/180511480518?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2a07529ac6 Lockable, a good hardcase, and half the price of anything close on the gun market. Really scratch the bastard up and put crappy band stickers all over it. The neighbors wouldn't blink. Nobody would even bat an eye walking down the street with it, as long as you look the part.
  13. Build it. There are vending machine companies everywhere, and they have to do something with the old ones. It would be cooler if you could still make it chill at least a six pack.
  14. I'm curious what you guys have found to camouflage your gear, guns and toys. Mods and holsters for your car. Cases that don't tell the meth-head down the street you have a house full of guns for him to steal while you're at work. Hidden gun safes. Your favorite carry holster for gun or mags. You get the idea. Stuff that helps you walk softly, while carrying a big stick if you need it. I'll post picks of some great things I have seen.(You don't have to "Out" yourself by posting pics if you don't want to.) The best one I have seen was a gun safe made from a Coke machi
  15. Here is what you can look forward to if your little fantasy ever comes true... http://www.examiner.com/x-536-Civil-Liberties-Examiner~y2009m2d5-Police-raid-victim-convicted-for-act-of-self-defense ...if you're lucky, and they don't just shoot you. Knock yourself out there Toughguy.
  16. Read up one post Hmm... Shoot the Government employee who trespasses on your property, and we can all see if they give you life in prison, the needle, or just destroy your life with civil wrongful death suits. Get real. The mall ninja thread is a bit further down. All we need is some moron killing somebody "Just doing their job" to be the poster child for another round of gun control, and political crackdowns on the rest of us.(Not that you wouldn't be right to do so. Morally, I say shoot the cops who try to shake you down for seatbelt ticket money. But in reality, it doesn't fly.)
  17. Logic of the JBTs... "You don't need privacy unless you have something to hide." Welcome to America. Do as you are told.
  18. It's happening in N Korea right now. We have a larger, armed population of people too unskilled or lazy to grow food, or produce anything of value. It won't take long. A week of starvation will have the local urban populations turning on each other and running into the countryside looking for livestock and "Game". (That would be anything they can get. Although it might take quite a while for "Long pig" and "Hairless Goat" to be added to the menu.) The real question will be, who that mob will follow once panicked and mobile...
  19. Somebody told me once, "When you wake up in the morning, and decide you have had enough, it is time to fight. Grab your rifle and walk out your front door... If you're the only one standing with a gun in his hand, go back inside and wait for everyone else to wake up." I'm actually kind of happy about the Obama situation. We are headed for a collapse of the dollar. (I don't think anything short of that will wake people up.) When that happens, I will use more than use my words and my time at the rallies. I know it sounds rough, but the vast majority of our countrymen are sheep, and will be k
  20. It's absolutely amazing to see a kid these days with the skills and craftsmanship to produce such fine work by hand. It gives me hope to know these kids are still being produced.
  21. Yeah, the guy who wants the flag to actually stand for something, I should shoot myself. Some of us don't think that flag should fly over Socialist America, or be used as a prop behind people like Obama. We can fly it when it can wave for Liberty.
  22. Considering we have nullified the Constitution it stands for, and abandoned the "Republic for which it stands" it might be better just to forget about the flag. Seriously, it's just a sad joke now. Burn them all. Maybe we can fly her again when we, as a people, deserve that honor. Heath
  23. I priced it out at CSS and all the parts were $380, not counting the folding hinge. It had 1500rnd through it, but was unlikely to be a Vodka Special. $479 for a new S12 shipped on GB... $440 worth of parts... the whopping hour it would take to cut 3 rivets, and a tang to build it myself... $919 for a new gun Vs $700, + $30 shipping, +$50 minimum bribes, +1500rnds of wear....is that worth $100? I save almost nothing.... You're right. Screw it.
  24. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS ONE BIT!!!!! ITs the TRUTH!!!!! you wannabe's wouldnt understand the rigors and trauma people like me go through to protect YOUR sorry asses when you are at places like the mall, or the baseball stadium... or any other place where danger lurks unbeknownst to you and guys like me save your SORRY ASSES time and TIME AGAIN!!!! OMG!!!! It's you!!!!!!! You who protect the sniveling masses with your very life! You who were so famously maligned by the proponents of "Combat Tupperware". Teach me...
  25. The auction is long done. I thought I had it when I bid the "Buy it Now" price. This guy sniped it with 1 minute remaining at 12:30am.(I have since learned I needed to hit the "Buy it Now" icon... not bid the price listed for "buy it now". He's some kind of online trader... hundreds of auctions on multiple sites. odds are he doesn't want the gun, just a quick payout. I'll save him the shipping, transfers, and hassle... and just pay him off.
