I finally took my XDm to the range to test it out and I just may prefer it to my 1911 (which says a lot). Upgrades: Trijicon RMR, trigger kit from SP toned to 3lbs, and tungsten rod. I'm far from being a hand gun pro but I'm proud of this target (it was done somewhere between 7-10 yards, with Tula ammo, and 1-2 seconds between shots)! And this was just me shooting during my first day with it. I cant wait until I'm fully familiar with it (I know that i can do better because I was repeatedly putting 3 bullets in the same hole the size of a nickel when i was resting the gun on a ben

I read AJ's post about casting slugs from bird shot a while ago and followerd in his steps (I have all of the materials but haven't started casting yet) Anyways, I bought the 7/8 slug mold because of your reasoning above but that was just a guess..can someone answer that?

Yep mine's the one that stays on and just needs the tritium replaced every 12 years..I wanted to have the sight milled a little more forward and have BUIS installed but I was told the 5.25 XDm model cant have the slide milled :-/

haha But i like the dual Illuminated RMR for what I'll be using it for. .Look into the adjustable red dot version too because both have their pros and few cons, depending on their purpose

Its the tiger maple set by Rhineland Arms/ Troup Systems (google "PSL Tiger Maple kits" and its the first choice). And its $150. You cant contact them via email but they may take a few days to respond. Saiga 12 (90% converted..just mocked up the way that I'll have it soon..but with the folding mech) and my Springfield XDm Taurus 608s chambered in .357 with 6" barrels and

I was attempting to finish the conversion by putting the CSS FCG in but i got annoyed with the retaining spring and took a break...When I stood up, this fell out of my lap: Please help a rookie out "11th firearm commandment: If you reassemble your gun and have left over parts, DON'T SHOOT IT." haha
