  1. With that brake you will probably need a fifth port to cycle low brass. For some reason that muzzle brake reduces the amount of gas that is available for the system. I guess it shows how much the brake works when you take one off and the weapon cycles,,,put it back on and it short strokes. I've run into this on a couple of S-12s.
  2. I'm getting ready to run a new batch of choke tube adapters and I want to make them long enough so that you can use the Saiga 12 barrel shrouds. Is 4 inches overall length going to do it?
  3. Been a little busy with the whole solvent trap and Econo-can thing. I'm parting out a couple IZ 109s on gunbroker for anyone interested. And I need a little input from the 1919 guys.
  4. Picking up the finished barrels after the gun show. Will have the first small lot available to ship end of next week. Depending on the family time I spend after the funeral. Video will be up soon. The factory spring on the 7.62x39 PPS is fine for use with the wimpy 9mm ...
  5. Lost Mom last night , she has been my Mother in Law for 33 years. A man could not ask for a better one. She passed peacefully in her sleep. Many of you have met and talked with my wife Vicki Jo over the years. Feel free to email her at the office. .................Thank You.
  6. The original 7.62 x 25 magazines work fine. No mods required. Price will be under $200, but final price to be determined by the cost of the finish. ( Yes I just gave them to him and said do it) I've run several thousand rounds thru the machine gun and have found these barrels to be excellent. I've bought the best blanks I could find.
  7. Just a heads up on a new offering, PPS 43 pistols are being offered wwith the stock mounted in the folded position. I have just send a dozen 9mm 16 inch barrels off to be black nitrate finished. This will allow the 7.62 x 25 pistol to be used as a 9mm carbine. The muzzle is threaded 1/2 x 28. Removal and installitation is a simple press fit.
  8. Almost forgot,.....Like us on FaceBook......Im being drug into the modern age slowly..........kicking all the while................ This " smart "ass phone beats me up pretty regular.
  9. I've not been able to devote much time here. Just a lot going on. Kinda like that three legged cat in the litter box covering up crap. Solvent traps are in full production, AR 15, AR 10, AK 47 and 74, and a couple other ones you can find on the web store. Watch for the feature gun of the month, Usually a Saiga build, which will be in stock ready to ship. Still selling Econo-cans. Still selling Mitigators. And myself and my bride have been married 33 years on Oct 6th. She deserves some kind of award for putting up with being Active Duty EOD and all my crap To date.
  10. Being drug into the modern age.....guess I'll use it till the world collaspes later this year. Just to see if anyone is paying attention.....I have a couple WW2 Garands for sale. Just honest old guns, WW 2 serial numbers, but one is a Winchester reciever...thats about the only Winchester part on it as it went thru rehab. No rust no surprises....$1000 each. These are used guns....good shooters..good shape, but don't expect a pristine weapon. Pics available...
  11. If you are careful and really want to get off cheap, you can drill the hole 1/8 inch then use the drill bit for the pin. The retaining cross pin is not necessary if you are just looking to retain the muzzle attachment in its proper position. I've had several come into the shop this way, works fine until you decide on the upgrade you finally want.
  12. Just tried a Purolator filter for a 350 Chevy on a FN 49, in 8 mm. Damn thing held the pressures....amazing.
  13. Gee Bob, Surprised you would really ask that question. These were manufactured in response to a Govt request for a solvent recovery system. Being an old GI, I shot thru one to see how the filter would hold up. To my surprise they held up to full auto firing. The results of that little experiment being the registered Econo-Can. I have two seperate products here. And neither you, or anyone else actually in Enforcement, is going to get any other answer. AR adapters in 1/2 x 28, and AK adapters in 14 x 1 LH are in stock, Also a few AR 10 in 5/8 x 24.
  14. Gonna try a wet one soon on a FN 49 in 8mm on next video. Try try this link...
  15. Yes, it's real...it might even be a little clearer if someone could link the ASA video we shot showing me hitting soda cans with my Walther. I may be puter challenged........But, Once upon a time , long long ago, before night sites, lasers, red dots...ect. We used to practice "Point Shooting" with our work guns. With a bit of practice you can do pretty well even if you can not see your sites. Ahh you youngsters are gonna be sheep in the woods once the "End" comes and the batteries wear out. . Us old combat guys and the Amish will rule....I can see it now.... "Elect me Church Elder and
  16. Thanks to everyone who pushed these little darlings out there. Seems like a whole lot of people feel the need to catch the mess that comes out the muzzle of their gun when cleaning from the breech. Of course the ATF paperwork is available for anyone wishing to register their trap as a silencer..Check out the vids on youtube by CGW or ASA .
  17. We had a good shoot with the Sand Masters outfit. They spent about 40 hours building sand and we spent 4 hours shooting hell out of it. They liked the Saiga 12 machineguns a lot. They should air the episode in June.
  18. I'm about 2 hrs away in Cadiz. On occasion I do the Berea gun show up there.
  19. A little more notice would have been nice all the way around. But with Knob Creek canceled.........it kind of came up. Besides there will be a few toys to sample......and the firing line is completely booked solid.
  20. Kind of a poor Knob Creek wannabe type affair. But CGW and ASA are gonna be on the firing line with select fire Saiga 12s and other goodies.
  21. If you get a chance you might take a look at the 5.45 I shortened and suppressed. The select fire AK was suppressed using a standaard AR can with the gas system shortened and one of my HD 12 Ga gas piston rods installed. The vid is on you tube under Cadiz Gun Works If you get a chance you might take a look at the 5.45 I shortened and suppressed. Between the burnt building, ....contractors, roofers, electricans....state officials.....ect and trying to finish up the custom builds I've been putting in some long damn days...............BUT When she found out the dog ended up with a hernia.............OMG...............she went nuts..... The conversation was highlighted by..........." You worked so damn much the dog got the hernia".....about that time her voice went up into the higher levels and only the dog could hear just what else she said...............
